Home Again
Well here I am. I am now on my second day here at Shidler. It really does feel good to be home. Andrea has come down to visit her grandmother for the holidays and I have spent most of the day with her. I really miss NEO a lot. I am still halfway expecting to go back in just a few weeks. I know that I will never be returning as a student. It really hasn’t sunk in that much yet. But I am sure that it will when I get to Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I have been seriously thinking about getting an apartment when I get to SWOSU. My mom and I are going to go down a week or so early and check things out and see what there is for Weatherford to offer. I really like dorm life but I really don’t want a roommate and I am getting tired of moving my stuff around every few weeks. I want to find a place that is mine and be able to call it my own and not have to worry about moving out of it.
The picture above is a picture of my dorm mom, Vicki, and my dorm custodian, Lisa. I got an email form Vicki just the other day. I can’t believe that I am missing NEO this much. I know that the missing feeling will fade over time but it seems to be taking its sweet time.
Well that is about all that I can think to write so I will write more later.

Last Night
Wow, I really can’t believe that my days here at NEO have come to an end. Two and a half years just sort of flew by for me. I learned a lot of things, not just in the classroom but outside the classroom as well. I learned a lot about life and what my choices can hold for me. I kept my dreams high and they are still high. “Once a Norsemen, Always a Norsemen.” That is the driving force of the school. When I first arrived here at NEO back in the fall of 2001 I had no idea as to what that meant. Now I do. I am a Norsemen and I will always be a Norsemen. This school, this place, and this atmosphere will always have a special place in my heart. I know that Southwestern Oklahoma State University is right around the corner but nothing will ever compare to the love that I have for Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. Tonight is my last night. I have had one hell of a run.
By the way the pic above is of my friends and I. On the far left is the foreign exchange student, Raphael. Next is my best friend, Cliff. Next to him is his girlfriend, Sadie. And then there is me. I thought that this pic was a very good pic and I wanted to share it with everyone out there on the Internet. NEO I will never forget you and I will never forget the people that have made you. I will always have feelings for you and I will always carry a piece of that which will be mine forever. I am writing these words and holding them forever in a special place in my heart.
