Goodbye Sarah

Thursday April 6, 2006 marked the end of a living legend at G4: Video Game Television.  Sarah Lane had her final goodbye and ran off to get married.  After her marriage she and her new husband will be going on a 13 month honeymoon.  During her time on "The Screen Savers" and later "Attack of the Show" Sarah proved to be a great co-host.  The Nerd universe loved her a lot.  She will be missed.  I thoroughly enjoyed her episodes of "The Feed."  After all, it is not everyday that Nerds get such a pretty face with a similar interest of Nerdom as that of Sarah Lane.  She said that she would keep us up to date through her web site at Sarah.Word.

I think that I am speaking on behalf of nerds everywhere when I say:

"We will miss you Sarah.  You proved to us that being a Nerd is more that just video games and X-Box mods.  You showed us new and never before seen technology that opened our minds.  You "feed" us new daily news that was informative and also funny.  You were a guiding light in the technologically dark realm that so many Nerds call home.  Being a Nerd would not have been as cool without you in it for the last few years.  From the bottom of my heart to yours.  I hope that whatever you do in life is as free spirited, open minded, funny, awesome, spontaneous, outrageous, and fun as you made our lives.  I hope you marriage is great and I hope that you stay exactly the way you are."
